🚀 Getting Started
I began with a simple idea — to showcase my coding and design work to the world. I planned out the structure: Home, Projects, Experience, Skills, Contact, and Blog.
💻 Writing Code
Using HTML and CSS as my base, I added interactivity with JavaScript. I made it responsive, mobile-friendly, and used custom animations. I used VS Code as my main editor and hosted projects with Firebase.
🎨 Design & Branding
For the visuals, I used Figma to plan the layout and Adobe Photoshop for logo design. The color palette and fonts were carefully picked to match the "BORG DEV" identity.
🌐 Hosting with Firebase
After testing everything, I deployed my site using Firebase Hosting. It was simple, fast, and reliable. The live version went online at borgdevweb.web.app.
📢 Promotion
I promoted my site on Instagram, YouTube, Dev.to , Reddit , Linkedin. I even created reels and Shorts to showcase parts of my site and my creative work. It helped me get views and feedback!
💡 Lessons Learned
- Plan before coding
- Design matters as much as development
- Promotion is key to getting discovered
- Consistency builds brand
📌 Conclusion
It was an amazing learning experience. I got better at HTML, CSS, JS, design tools, and learned how to deploy and promote a real-world project. I can't wait to improve this even more!
